Rohienakehte Roy Dione Marcello Guarasciofirst idea was to make the shape of headphones as the structure but bailed on that idea for it was too complex. our next idea which we stuck with was more original and slightly resembled the spiral thing that you brought in. our idea was to make like a cone with spirals running around it in a vertical direction, or like a vortex but the at the top where the hole is we couldn't figure out how to make the nylons run inside. so we kept the model we have.
our next idea was very simple and appealing to the eye. the new model relates to the first one by its triangular shape and its curves. we then attached a square base at the top of the triangle and curved it inwards to make it more 3-dimensional.
The Fan Mist Cooler: a new design which cools and refreshes! i struggled with coming up with an idea for this project and finally stumbled upon this one. the fan; which acts as an ordinary fan, also has a cooling system built inside of the fan. what happens is you set a time length at your desire ranging from 1-30 mins and the fan sends out a spray of light mist through its propellers, cooling you without getting you wet. the water tank is at the back of the fan and can easily be refilled with a removable cap on top. the fan has another feature which cools you down even more. at the base underneath the cage there is another water tank which you can actually drink from. the water goes through a hose into a filtration system giving you fresh clean water. on the opposite side of the base there is a cavity which you fill ice with.much like an ice dispenser from a fridge you can choose cubed or crushed ice and you push the button and out comes ice. both cavities for the fresh water and the ice are hidden behind the panel, and a case goes around it so it has a more appealing look.
