first idea was to make the shape of headphones as the structure but bailed on that idea for it was too complex. our next idea which we stuck with was more original and slightly resembled the spiral thing that you brought in. our idea was to make like a cone with spirals running around it in a vertical direction, or like a vortex but the at the top where the hole is we couldn't figure out how to make the nylons run inside. so we kept the model we have.
our next idea was very simple and appealing to the eye. the new model relates to the first one by its triangular shape and its curves. we then attached a square base at the top of the triangle and curved it inwards to make it more 3-dimensional.
